How subjects are chosen
Pages are chosen because someone would plausibly search for them and find nothing straight.
Where claims come from
Facts about what a product does, what it costs, and what it includes cite the vendor’s own pages, and official documentation where one exists. Where those pages do not settle a claim, it is left out or the page says it is unclear.
- Pricing is described as of the date on the page, because it moves.
- Where two sources disagree, the page says so rather than picking the tidier one.
- Marketing language is not repeated as though it were a finding.
The things this site will not do
No numeric scores, star ratings, tier boards or leaderboards. No described testing that did not take place. No invented counts of tools reviewed, hours spent or readers served. Ranking, where it happens, happens in words with a reason attached.
Corrections
Mistakes get fixed on the page itself rather than quietly disappearing, and where a correction changes the conclusion the page says what changed. Send them to [email protected].
